The program’s environmental initiatives demonstrated BCG’s commitment to regional sustainability goals, including supporting the UAE’s ambitious target of planting 100 million mangroves by 2030. Teams across Dubai and Abu Dhabi participated in mangrove planting and kayaking experiences, learning about these vital ecosystems while contributing to their preservation
Community-focused activities formed another crucial pillar of the program. In Doha, BCG teams worked with Step by Step to create colorful and inspiring spaces at local special needs children’s centers, while Riyadh-based staff collaborated with youth programs to build confidence through sports and creative activities.
“The enthusiasm and dedication of BCG’s teams make these initiatives truly impactful,” said Nasreen Sharif, Founder & Director of Step by Step Center for Persons with Disabilities Qatar. “Their structured approach, combined with genuine passion for community service, creates meaningful change that extends far beyond the actual day of service.”
“BCG’s involvement with our children has created meaningful impact,” said Dima Al-Nasser, Director of Public Relations at the Children with Disability Association in Riyadh. “Their team brought such energy and dedication to the activities, creating an environment where our children could build confidence and experience pure joy. These moments of connection and empowerment help show our community that every child has unique abilities that deserve to be celebrated.”
In-office initiatives were also carefully designed to maximize impact. Teams created sustainable care products for women in worker accommodations, prepared educational materials with solar-powered lamps for refugee children, and organized food donation drives to support local communities. Animal welfare initiatives included partnerships with shelters across Dubai and Fujairah, where staff supported canine and feline residents through various care activities.
“What sets these programs apart is their focus on creating lasting connections within our communities,” said Ibrahim Nahas, BCG Middle East. Whether we’re planting mangroves, supporting children with special needs, or helping animal shelters, each activity strengthens the bonds between our people and the communities we serve.”
Through this comprehensive program, BCG continues to demonstrate its commitment to driving positive change across the Middle East. By combining environmental stewardship, community support, and youth empowerment initiatives, the firm is working to create a more sustainable and inclusive future for the region. As these programs continue to grow and evolve, they serve as a model for how businesses can effectively contribute to social impact while fostering meaningful connections within their communities.
